Restoring an Exchange backup to a Recovery Storage Group:

1.      Start Windows NT Backup.

2.      Click the Restore and Manage Media tab.

3.      Right click on File and choose Catalog file.

4.      At the Open backup File dialog click Browse?

5.      Select the backup file you want to restore and click Open.

6.      Click OK to select the file.

7.      Expand the backup file and select ?Log Files? and ?Mailbox Store? and click Start Restore.

8.      On the Restoring Database Store dialog confirm that the Exchange server name is correct, enter a location for temporary files to be stored, click ?Last Restore Set (Log file replay will start after this restore completes.)? and ?Mount Database After Restore? and click OK.

9.      After a moment the restoration process will begin, when it is done click Close.

10. Close Windows NT Backup.
