TIPS & TRICKS TO FIND YOUR MISPLACED E-MAILS IN OUTLOOK

            You lost your mail somewhere in the subfolders due to some rules wizard or accidental drag & drop. Than try these steps to find the mails

1. Try searching the PST using advanced find

2. Try looking for you mail in the root of the PST  or mailbox

 

1. Try searching the PST using advanced find

 

Right click on the root of the Pst or mailbox.

Select Advanced Find

Click on Browse Button

Make sure the “Search subfolder” is checked, click OK

 

Enter the words in “search for the words”

OR

Choose “From” or “Sent To”

Click Find Now

This should return a list of e-mail which match the criteria. Also with the e-mail the folder where it is stored

 

 

2. Try looking for you mail in the root of the PST  or mailbox

Right click on the Mailbox or PST root and select Properties

           

 

Click on Home page tab

Uncheck the “show home page ….”

Click OK

 

Now you can see the mail items in the root folder of the mailbox
