Outlook Web Access can be a users and administrators dream. No more do administrators need to troubleshoot problems users are having on their home PC's! As for the user - have Internet Connection and Browser - will travel!

But before we go putting a server with access to both the outside world and our precious Exchange Server, how many of us ever investigate the security issues?

Well, not to worry, as Microsoft have been nice enough to publish a checklist for both IIS4.0 and IIS5.0! Even better with IIS5.0 they have created a tool which does the job for you!

Those with Windows 2000, should have a look at the System Scanner tool that is included on your W2K CD! This is a great tool for checking the security on all your servers. You select what sort of server it is (it even lets you check desktops), and the program investigates all know holes, and tells you how to fix them! Even better, it's fully customisable!
